Hope’s Weblog

Hope Lutheran Church has 35 members who have been praying for members of the BGSU hockey team and tonight the team and their prayer partners enjoyed a wonderful dinner together. The dinner was coordinated by Pastor Tom who is the team’s Chaplan and has been mentoring this group of men. A surprise visitor arrived and spoke to the team members after dinner. Would anyone like to share how the evening affected them? Whether you’re a player or a member of Hope who was in attendance, tell us what you think.. ..  .

A little known secret at Hope is our Harvest Ministry. This ministry is led by Dana Imbrock with a growing number of team members who are the ”quick response team” to members of our congregation. What an awesome outreach to those who are in need. Maybe Dana could do a better job of explaining what this team does;))

In the last 3 weeks, both women AND men experienced moving weekends at Hope. This ministry brought to Hope by GESU catholic church has been invigorating the hearts and minds of Hope members for 2 years now. What an awesome experience!!

“This past weekend Feb 23-24 was one that I will remember FOREVER. The Holy Spirit was sure moving through the hearts and minds of the men and women of this community of faith and we were fed with food that will continue to strengthen us as we continue along our spiritual paths.

When Proverbs 27:17 was read–As iron sharpens iron, so man sharpens fellow man–our time together and the events of the weekend all came together for me.
